These animals that will be sacrificed in all districts consist of 1894 cows and 1182 goats and are expected to be sacrificed over a period of four days.

The Prayers are the main pillar of Islam
The Mufti of Rwanda, Sheikh Musa Sindayigaya, said that among these animals, some are donated by partners, all of which will be distributed in a fair manner throughout the country.
He said, “There will be a plan to slaughter the animals, we have requested permission from various authorities, we have announced this plan. Now that is what is going to happen, and they are well prepared in a way that includes good coordination so that it can be distributed because all 30 districts have a plan to reach us.

The leadership of the Muslim Community in Rwanda also announced that this year 72 Rwandan Muslims were able to perform the holy pilgrimage, including 62 who went as part of the community’s regular program to help Rwandans perform the holy pilgrimage and 10 others as special guests of the King of Saudi Arabia.

This Eid Al Adha day is important in their history
Karimu Kagabo said, “It reminds us of when Prophet Abraham was going to sacrifice his only son and God replaced him with a sheep, which he slaughtered.”
He added that on this day, among the things they are asked to do is help the needy and be kind and good deeds.
